Meet Mary

Mary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked with children, families, and couples in the Philadelphia area and beyond for nearly two decades. She earned her MSW from Temple University in 2008 and has experience in child welfare, community mental health, and school-based therapeutic programs. Mary has completed extensive post-graduate training in childhood trauma and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. She has also completed the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) three-part training for mental health professionals and is a Level-2 trained Gottman Method couples therapist, with a particular interest in supporting couples during the transition to parenthood.

Mary is known for building strong rapport through a warm, non-judgmental approach that helps clients feel heard and empowered. She works from a strengths-based, systems perspective, integrating talk therapy with grounding and breathing techniques to support emotional regulation and healing. Mary specializes in infertility and assisted reproduction, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, childhood trauma, parenting stress, and also enjoys working with tweens, teens, and their families navigating stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Outside of her clinical work, Mary enjoys hiking in the Wissahickon, gardening, traveling, and listening to music. She values time with her husband and two children and can often be found cheering from the sidelines at youth sports or walking along the Jersey Shore collecting seashells.
