Therapy for Teens and Tweens

With years of experience working with young people in both school and outpatient settings, I provide a supportive and understanding space for teens and tweens to explore their emotions, build confidence, and navigate life’s changes. I can help with anxiety, depression, stress, and the many transitions that come with growing up such as changing schools, shifting friendships, parents’ divorce or remarriage, identity exploration, and growing independence. My approach focuses on helping young people name and understand their feelings, develop emotional literacy, and strengthen self-esteem.

I know how important it is for adolescents to “find their people,” and I aim to be one of those steady, nonjudgmental adults who encourages and empowers them along the way.

Parent involvement is an important part of therapy. Most sessions involve a check-in with a parent, and at times we may have full family sessions when it’s helpful for improving communication or support at home. My goal is to help young people feel seen and understood in order to strengthen their relationships in all areas of their lives.
